CompTIA Security+ is an entry level security certification, that validates knowledge of basic security concepts, communication security, infrastructure security, cryptography, and operational security. Students must pass a 100 question, 90 minutes exam to become Security+ certified. Students must gain an 84% or better on the exam to pass.

This course prepares students for exam using a series lectures, and hands on labs to get students prepare for the exam. Some of the hands on lab will include setting up a client server network and securing it, using IPSec, certificates, cryptography, and group policies.
